back in the 60's, 70's and 80's if you were going to the track you were going to the "trotters" if you owned any harness horse, you owned a "trotter". It was a blanket term for any standardbred racer.

I think Calhoon's son has one in the Hambo this year.
The same son that worked for Lehman Brothers.
