Utterly insane prices today
Lexington prices being sky high is one thing - unbelievable pedigrees
Today, not so much. Some shaky pedigrees going for $400k+. Just insane to me
Is everyone just desperate for yearlings and this is the last sale to get them, so prices are so high?

I have a friend at the sale. He said it seem quiet with little excitement. There were 6 bid ins in the first 100 horses. Never seen that many before.

big money paid for May foals, I prefer January - April foals

good sale

If any horse deserved a name change, he is the one.

sale prices way down today
still don't understand 325k on 294, really, really light on pedigree, nice individual but will far have to out-trot her page
second dam threw absolutely nothing and only 1 horse on the page, seen that type of page before on Lucky Chucky, was the only thing on the page and may only be the only thing on the page for generations

Yes, I would agree with you on that one. I guess yesterday was 8% lower with 29 extra horses sold vs last year. Someone made the comment here of 6 no sale on horses in the 1st 100 brought a low total or under a reserve. Odd to see that as they place these horses to sell or maybe just to scam a few suckers on day one?

sale prices much, much lighter today, lesser quality and people finally ran out of $$$

Fire start Hanover was a great purchase
So was Nancy’s mare. I know she’s has an issue but will do well in breeding shed.
Forgot her name
