I believe the time off makes handicapping hard. Whose horses are ready. It has nothing to do with competitive fields. On a normal night the race sec. starts the p4 with a short field. The race is one of the features & usually the favorites are live. It makes the p4 a p3 on many occasions. The Meadowlands lucked out that they are all 10 horse fields. JMVHO
