After a horse did not do good at Monticello it is going to race again at Tioga after three days rest. Is this good?

Could of been entered to run at both, could end up a scratch in the latter, could of been a last minute entry, I've seen them break in one and trainer asks to be put in next available, might like to run tight.....how about the name of the FUCKING HORSE!

Thank you.   ;D

Seen it happen before. Some trainers just toss em right back in at another track. Not the way I would do things but to each their own. Sometimes they use the first race as a tightener for the second one

When a track is short of horses in a class it can be done. Especially now with the longer time between draw and race.  Usually done when a horse is in where it can win and enters back in a couple days to race back in that class. “Eligible when entered”.

I've seen one horse (and others) listed multiple times on the same card as well as consecutive days of the same week, but often times as AE's (Also Eligible's).  Your reason for the most part.   Sometimes they are stake races too that the trainer nominated, entered and fees paid in multiple scheduled to race simultaneously with the hope they get chosen for at least one!

If they actually raced and are racing back quickly try to get a hold of lifetime past performances to see if they've done that with the same trainer before, and the outcome, they might of had consistent success at times.  tmbz1

Horses occasionally race two days in a row. Eastern Skipper with Herve in the 70’s is a case in point.

Some of the fairs use to and might still do, race two heats a day.
