What is his business plan? Has to pay a % to list them???

Very sharp young buggy horse dealer who buys and sells a lot of horses. He is Amish but still races
a few but not nearly as successfully as he buys and sells.
-
He buys them in bunches. Sharp guy. He and his brother.

Jay Paul Hoover. Guy buys and sells over a 800 - 1000 horses a year. clean operation and well oiled machine, from Epharta, Pa. The buy back sets the value for any private sale.

Very sharp & unsuccessful are traits that are not often associated with each other. I'm guessing that you mean that he's a good horsemen but a lousy broker???
-
No he's a top broker. He sells 800-1000 horses per year. I would call that successful. Is Amish so horses you see on on gait he buys back, he's not paying commission on, only the entry fee which is less than $150.00
-
OnGait charges commission on last bid in the auction if reserve not met. At first they didn’t but too many we’re putting horses on their just too see what they were worth. Buyers got passed and quit wasting time bidding
