I got to know him years ago at Liberty Bell. He was a good guy and had a good career.

Here, Here !!

You never know -- I just saw him at the sale.

Good horseman. He had a good three year old back in the 90’s at Los Alamitos. Not a good driver tho
-
Was that Devil's Advocate? you know me, my memory runs good and bad so forgive me if I am wrong
-
I do know Pilgrim's storm was earlier...Btw, I checked it out. He had 1350 wins, not too shabby

That’s not the one I’m talking about. It was something like wishuwerehere or something like three words all put together.

i checked it out. i think you mean Till We Meet Again? I dont even see Devil's Advocate in his notable horses, but I was sure that was Abe's...It stuck in my memory because I thought it ironic an Amish man should have a horse with "Devil" in its name

Till We Meet Again

tmbz1 Maybe I am thinking of Devils Adversary Just looked Devils Advocate was more recent, with Waples
-
Only thing I find on Devils Adversary is as I recall he was a very good Jersey Sire Stakes horse as well as Grand Circuit and i discovered he was owned By Howard Taylor's father, Jerry Somehow I thought Stoltzfus campaigned him, maybe I am wrong Anyone know who raced the horse?
-
Abe raced a few “Devil” horses for Jerry Taylor father of Howard
-
Hey, Ty So it was him I don't need memory care after all, TY
-
RIP one of the good guys.

If my memory serves me correctly, Till We Meet Again was owned by a fellow here in Delaware whose name escapes me at this time. He was a DuPonter..not family, just employe.. but I remember vividly watching a big race he was in many years ago where he made a break just after the start, then looped the field and won. He was a good one for sure.

Ernie Hartman who then lived in Seaford. The race was the Breeders Crown
