Most wagering is done online, can't these idiots announce the horse, owner, trainer, driver, when the video is on the correct horse. This guy at Yonkers tonight is giving info on the 7 horse while the video is still on the 4 horse. Christ back in the day, I've been fine for being out of position in the post parade. Once at Monticello, I was fined for driving thru the post parade while warming up...... Anyways just announce the post parade off the video, it's pretty simple.

Ross Hayter and myself use to rig horses with wrong hobbies so we would break during race...Eddie Davis would cash tickets with Syl del campe

If you were a real driver you would Know what I was saying was true! There was once a time tracks were anal how post parades were carried out.

Yes purple gold colors...I remember you....didn't you have that silver caddy

Yes I was warned once and was smart enough to do it correctly

Why even bother bickering with these sarcastic fools/ You are absolutely correct. Warming up through a post parade was a fineable offense and it was enforced. I remember guys turning around on the clubhouse turning and going to the paddock the other way to avoid doing it. I believe you drove.

ok then

Why do u need an announcer at yonkers...u can follow along without it.

There are lots of tracks where the cameraman and the announcer are not in sync. I watch the Saratoga meet on NYRA TV all the time. This happens almost every race because the TV personalities never stop talking. At this meet there are so many 2 year old maiden special weight races with many horses running for the first time. By the time these guys finish talking about the horse’s great, great grandfather the horse on the screen is in another county. Then you can travel a few hundred yards and get to the harness track. Here you can have an opposite situation. Announcer Mike Sardella has so little to say the cameraman is huffing and puffing to keep up.

Not sure if its the announcers' fault or the camera operators' - but it would seem to be an easy fix ..... if only someone cared.

The director in the booth?
