MGM released its plan for a full service casino and resort at Yonkers, contingent on being awarded a license. Competition meeting local resistance in Queens and Nassau. That wont be the case at Yonkers-hurdles already been handled.

Maybe Faraldo saw this day coming decades ago---so rather than carve out money to promote the sport and grow a new generation of fans, he made a deal that allowed the purses to become a money grab for the cheats.
