I THINK A NEW EXCUSE IS NEEDED. THIS ONE IS GETTING OVERUSED

I doubt they are going to list that the horse's insides are cooked as a reason.
-
So true about not going to tell you the horses insides are cooked , gutted from all the drugs they’ve used on them.

Seems this time of year with plenty of weather changes legit leads to tie ups.
-
maybe they know they wont have them much longer so they sit in the stall and dont get jogged.
-
The best is when they say "owners getting out of business" and then you see them buying more.
-
Dissolving a partnership, not fitting our program, looking to upgrade our stock.
-
can't get help, needs stalls, dissolving the partnership, can't be stabled at the track- needs a farm. racehorse sound, barn pet, perfect to tow, my loss your gain, excellent broodmare prospect,

Buying on line, in an auction has it's risks, no doubt. About 20 years ago, I decided I was going to sell used cars and trucks. I attended the auctions in the NY area. It cost me a few grand but, I quickly learned the sellers to avoid. The hustlers and the bullshiters.
Buying from On Gait is very much the same. If you put the time in and learn the habits and traits of the sellers, you can eliminate much of the risk.

I AGREE WITH YOU. JUST LOOK AT THE HORSES LINES AND OWNER, TRAINER AND DRIVER. THAT TELLS ME ALL I NEED TO KNOW. THE ISSUE I HAVE TODAY IS THE OWNERS OF ONGAIT ARE NOW SELLING FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE UNDER THE ONGAIT NAME TO MAKE IT LOOK LEGIT. THERE WERE A FEW "TOP" TRAINERS AND OWNERS WHO HAD MAUREY OR ERIC LIST THIS HORSE AND LIST THEMSELVES AS THE POINT OF CONTACT. IMMEDIATE RED FLAG FOR ME.

valid points
as i said earlier maurice and eric can see all that goes on during the bidding ...RED FLAG!!
also if you are within a reasonable drive of where the horse is stabled you must have a trainer etc go see it and maybe jog it, i know you cant tell everything from that but much better than bidding blindly

YES YOU GOT THAT RIGHT. ERIC AND MAURICE HAVE STUCK IT TO ALOT OF PEOPLE SO I'M ALWAYS CAUTIOUS OF THEM. BUT IT ALL GOES BACK TO BUYER BEWARE. BUYING A HORSE IS THE SAME AS BUYER A CAR, YOURE F'KED ANYWAY YOU GO. LOL BUT I PAY ATTENTION TO OWNER AND TRAINER FOR SURE. MAURICE AND ERIC CAN'T HIDE THAT ONE!!!
