Not just the time, but the way he did it; out of the 9, parked 3/4 of the mile (about 1/2 uncovered) and last half in 55.1 and drawing away.  Agreed that best trotter in January only has value for the owner (if he has raced for some decent purses.. and MV puts up $32k for their best trot, so not shabby) but the horse looks solid.

Beat a pretty good one from Plano.

MVG is the proving grounds for the latest and greatest magic syrup. It won't be long until you see a new name setting lifetime marks and a. 490 ave.! If horses were meant to fly, they would be born with wings!

I certainly can't dispute the suspicion with the obvious infestation of PED's in the sport. I find it sad though that you can never try to talk about a good horse on here without that type of commentary.

He is a very nice trotter.  Any word if they plan to try him against the big boys this Spring/Summer?  I know it's early, and these winter miles usually end up taking a toll on a horse.  Get the money while you can I guess.

Did get a late scratch #7 inside before start..didnt hurt. BUT

If MVR had 10 post on outside, could of Cal Expo'ed him leaving a few open gate spots between him and the balance.
Wouldnt have mattered..that sharp.

The southern Ohio tracks are not the place to play! When you claim horses from there you should probably put a hazmat suit on until you get a read on what brand of liquid fire they were using! While you are at it you may as well put BBQ sauce and utensils in the glove box,cuz it's real easy to have to eat one there! 73cv.2💉💉💉💉💉💉💉

Off a week. They didn't write an Invite last week. Wins again, easy enough. Hung pretty much the whole mile. 8TH In a row from handicapped outside post. Not as impressive as previous wins. Drifted out pretty bad. 8 in a row ain't bad though. 1:53.3 last 1/2 56 flat.

Tough winter miles.  Make the money now.  I doubt we will see this horse much from May to October.

I’m sure they will give him some down time before Hoosier.  This is a very nice horse showed tons of promise as two year old.  Not so much as 3 year old this performance doesn’t surprise me

Lost last two since coming back. Both at Hoosier to M+M's Dream, no disgrace. In to
go in the Cutler at M[1] Sat . No Delong this time. Purple Jersus up and the rail. Jiggy
Jogg's first start back. I like his chances. tmbz1 Should be at least 6-1 or so.

Nice appearing race, but he did get a great post and a real fast pace to close into. Not to mention that what he faced was with a couple exceptions not Open class horses.

Purses there are insane.  The purse in that race of $50,000 was more than they handled in the betting pool for it.

I didn't examine all the races, but I believe the handle there is so low overall that the purse to handle ratio is not like any other track in existence.

Dover in Motions seems a very nice horse, and I am not directing this observation at him, but Oak Grove seems a bit faster than it should be. Seen more than a few improve 2+ seconds there. I have never been; is it a good surface, or perhaps a little short?
