It took 2 1/2 years for the Ohio racing commission to VOID these infractions that were "13 times" the allowed dosage by 3 top trainers and the owners got to keep these HUGE purses to boot?!
-
Interesting that the "Commission" went against the investigating officers recommendation and "Rescinded" the rulings. Hmmm is this Ohio's way of saying: come one, come all, we welcome dopers with open arms? Absolutely ridiculous!
-
once again no orotection for the ga.blers
-
At first I thought I was going to read it was from 1 stable, and some sort of "contamination" of a leg paint.
But it was from three prominent stables. Do you think the same out come if the trainers were John Doe, Mary Monday, and Bob Bonkers ?

It is amazing that these commissions can basically do as they please in enforcing rules as they see fit, or not!
-
I just can't imagine that anyone would give enough dex almost 15x over the legal limit come on obviously these test weren't right jmo
-
DO YOU THINK THIS HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE DEMISE OF HARNESS RACING? SERIOUSLY, THESE WERE HUGE PURSES AND IT TOOK 2.5 YEARS TO FINALIZE THIS AND TRUTHFULLY THESE ARE PROMINENT TRAINERS.
IT IS THESE TYPES OF VIOLATIONS WITH ZERO LEADERSHIP WITHIN THE INDUSTRY THAT HAVE KILLED THIS SPORT!!!!!
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

The closer we get to the end the worse it gets.
-
I recall Seth Fishman saying use of one of his products can produce a Dex posotive. I believe it was SR1000. It could have been another but, one of his did produce alot of Dex overages.

The Ohio racing commission MUST explain 1) why did it take 2 1/2 YEARS to decide these cases and 2) WHY were they dismissed after this long a wait and all for the SAME stated reasons!

Pretty sure you are forgetting about the two no name schmucks that also got the same ruling and with way less for purses.

There should be a "sentence " guide that MUST be used for every infraction in the rule book! By using this method, it will not matter who knows who! YOU MUST MAKE THE PARTICIPANTS BELIEVE THAT RACING IS HONEST BEFORE YOU RAM IT DOWN THE THROATS OF THE BETTING PUBLIC!!
