in the last 12 month cycle the debt, which leveled off in year 1 of the Biden administration, lurched forward almost 3 bil. Why? Infrastructure? Student debt relief? If yes I'm fine with it. All Trump did was shift wealth from the bottom 90% of Americans to the top 1%. Neither is good, which is why the super wealthy should at least pay their fair share in taxes, rather than thumbing their noses like scummy Musk does. Guy pays nothing (Trump toi!) as they fly in jets and shit on golden toilets.
Our group has 4 Burger King franchises in the Philadelphia area and we've done better revenue since 2021 without raising prices. This is also after most of our great staff has had pay go up an average of 22.5%.
The economy is booming. The pulling out of the misery created by Trump seems never ending.
As a business owner I'm way better off with this administration. I have a diverse staff. When any one of them has an issue tgey know that they can come to me personally.
For the record, I would've given strong consideration to voting for Nikki Haley because she has a clear vision on many issues.

P S. My taxes/returns are roughly the same for a decade. The phony payroll tax Trump gave out gave an average $22 more a paycheck to our employees but much of them said their refunds were smaller by more than they got each pay period. Result was net loss. food costs aren't up 22%. I'd say they're up about 8-10% vs 2022. Gross sales are up. We decided to adjust compensation to our most long-standing and loyal employees and offer slightly more to new hires. We follow all corporate guidelines. 2 of our stores have won awards for cleanliness. Wish there were more opportunities to expand but none available at present. Hence the cheesesteak shop coming soon. Bit of a gamble but 1 of the people involved has ties to Angelo's and Labriola (bread maker).

There are no issues per say. The company loses many millions of dollars each quarter and their revenue is a pencil point in comparison. The principal company figures spent much of the last 10 days crying about what they believed was illegal short selling and want the SEC to investigate. Can guarantee that there is zero to investigate. Now cash is being pumped into the stock to buy up the dips, good luck with that in the long run.
Plain and simple, the valuations of this company put it close to penny stock land and with zero possibilities to make a profit, based upon dwindling subscriptions, the world should be shorting this company at these ridiculous levels.

New York City Judge Juan Merchan will likely sentence former President Donald Trump to up to three years in prison, but will suspend the sentence, Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax Sunday.
Trump's lawyers should push to move the sentencing date up so they can start appealing the case, he added.
"I think the judge will sentence him to a prison term of two or three years but suspend the sentence as to send a message that he deserves to get a prison term," Dershowitz said on Newsmax's "Sunday Report."
Still, Merchan doesn't need 1 1/2 months to decide what the sentence will be because "everybody knows" he's already made up his mind, he added.
"I know there has to be a pre-sentence report, but there are ways of trying to move this," said Dershowitz. "The judge, I'm sure, made up his mind what he was going to sentence him to before the verdict came back, because he knew what the verdict was going to be based on the instructions. The jury had no choice but to convict."
The trial, meanwhile, "wasn't a trial" but a "predetermined, orchestrated result," Dershowitz said.
"As soon as this judge was selected, as soon as this prosecutor was allowed to change the mind of all previous prosecutors and then to select the place where the trial would occur in New York, in Manhattan, where close to 90% of the jury [choices] would hate Donald Trump. This was not a trial."
