I know they are going to declare it a no contest --- cost me becuase these fucking idiots
cannot figure how to go a round a track twice without wrecking.....
Two separate incidents in a 6 horse field.
more to come ---
-
three minutes after the race
Shoot the Thrill still loosed on infield running around
Fucking Idiots 11.wp
-
How hard was it to simply go single file around the first incident. These amateur races are going to get someone killed one day.
-
forgot to say -- amateur race
Fucking Idiots ;D
-
2-5 shot gets everything his own way meanwhile the rest of the field are dodging breakers, hooking wheels, falling down. But my 4 horse still gets up at 10-1 and I know ( and they have to ) will declare a No Contest
Fucking idiots.

How did the moron on the #3 not see the starting car? Did he hit the wing with the horse? Stop having these races. Horses don't deserve to be put at risk by these idiots!

Idiot on the #3 also caused the incident in the first turn. No chance that guy should be driving horses.

Please check out how many of these “idiots” own these horses!!

What a terrible performance by these drivers. I hope no horse or no driver was hurt. How in the world does the driver hit the starting car? But with more and more of these races being run. our luck may run out.

It was a bad day all around at Monticello. Not only did the 6th race turn out to be a disaster in many ways, but Mr. Oil had the time wrong during his call by a minute.
Calling a race isn't easy--I've tried it. Maybe that's why there are so few "top" announcers.
I give Howard lots of credit for longevity--40 years at Monticello is incredible.
The first race call was also a disaster.
1. At the 3/8's Howard said that Ackles Hanover's lead was "insurmountable". The horse finished 4th and was placed 3rd. Interesting use of "insurmountable".
2. Using "still" in the same sentence twice may be a tad redundant.
3. Coming off the final turn, the call was, "Ackles Hanover is slowing down rapidly". I guess that's what happens when you lose an insurmountable lead.
-
Common denominator. It's been the same drivers, same trainers, same backstretch for decades. How many have moved on or forward? Guys like George Brennan should be thankful he got in trouble and kicked out or he may not have ever left. They're satisfied to be racing for just enough that nobody else invades them. Racing in front of a closed grandstand. Not so Mighty of an M anymore.

These amateur races are an embarrassment to the sport.

Believe it or not, there are a few announcers still calling races that are not any better. A position that is tough to fill in a dying industry!!

Why did the guy pull the horse up right on the track? Want attention? From what you could see , the horses didn't seem
harmed by that mini locking of the wheels at the start. The starting gate didn't help any either. A case where the lack
[I assume they don't have one. Big surprise] of an outrider shows its face.
-
lets not forget the driver of the 2/5 favorite just stopped driving in the stretch while staring at the infield and let #4 cruise right by
not so sure he knew it would be a no contest
anyone betting these amateur races should know anything goes

I’m really surprised that Robert Krivelin, who was driving #3, was involved in that and the starting gate mishap.
Rob was always rated 1 of the best amateur drivers in the country, and even finished 2nd in the Hambo Oaks a number of years ago. I wonder if there was an equipment issue.

Some of the professional drivers aren’t so great either. How about Brandon Parker getting DQ’d in R1 for going inside the pylons 3 times on the first turn. That was in the same race with the horse with the insurmountable lead.

While we are on the subject of the other races....2 fast miles by adamczyk horses to boot!

WTF just happened there...why wasnt the race called by judges?...and the car on the track!!!! Who ever was driving should have their licenses suspended....but thats montishithole..
-
The horse was harmed and he shattered his pastern bone. Might very well have to be euthanized.
