Big card tonight, watch elims , definitely not betting them…
Race#1-#2 JABBERWOCKY 7-2 Zerons mare was razor sharp last night, expect the same from this one tonight. Scott picks up the drive, competitive race, see him leaving some and power moving before the half. Wish he drew outside to blast off the wings.
Race#10-#6 WHICHWAYTOTHEBEAC H 3-1 ML Should be leaving from this post, will get better odds as Tetrick will be huge favorite in here.
Race#11-#5 SOMETIME SOMEWHERE 5-1 Have to assume he was sick before Mondays effort, two putrid efforts. Can leave a bit & race off the pace, Carms will be favorite, he’s a bet against for me.
Best of luck! tmbz1

You're a good handicapper whip. I'm curious about one thing though if you don't mind answering. Why do you never handicap (or at least post) stakes races? I've been a bettor since pools were actually good last century and a huge percentage of the bets I make are on stakes races. I almost never bet on a regular overnight mid class race without a huge angle. I'm planning to make a bunch of bets tonight at Mohawk and none of them are in these races you mention. Just curious and good luck on whatever you do.

Give us NA cup picks

I agree Thorn about betting stakes, though I certainly don't adhere to that theory really. lol
Alot of these are Elims and that's a completely different animal. Will you get their best effort?
Often times not. Good luck though.

I almost never bet elims, very very rarely. Only one I remember betting large at odds in an elimination is Georgia Oacific in the NA Cup elims, straight from Windsor Raceway with Stillings to Brian Sears, jogged at a price.
Tonight’s elims I like Captain Albano & Legendary Hanover, both will be bet heavy chalk.
Race#7 is the only race I’m not fond of the chalk as I’m not sold on Njinsky. Back to back east trips off soft fractions, will be overbet in here. I like Better Is Nice in here with McCarthy driving. Yannick will be firing off the wings but he hasn’t faced anyone and soft last quarters. Honestly it looks like one of the most wide open NA CUPS in years. tmbz1

No Burke, Pelling, or Toscano. Where are their top three year old horses?
-
even alagna is a bit weak
nice to see the dollars get spread around a little bit, although not thrilled to see beatin and casey winning

Mohawk-Thoughts:
1.) MM's Dream is built like a brick shithouse... tremendous, muscular mare. Looks like Barry Bonds. Certainly not worth betting, but should be a jogburger next week.
2.) In what universe does Abuckabett Hanover pay $18.90 (with a 1:47.2 at the track last year and only one race under his belt so far this year?) Of course, he wasn't hurt by the fact that Yannick and McNair completely overdrove their horses.

Taurasi went inside 6 pylons--4 were consecutive
judges say he was "forced inside the pylons by another horse"
i feel it was a bad call by the judges again
Legendary Hanover not as good as everyone predicted

Race 10 – Inquiry – Reviewed racing at the 3/4s for a possible pylon violation by #3
Flyingevenbettor N (Doug McNair), finished 3rd. The video shows #3 races inside three
consecutive pylons and is not forced inside the pylons. #3 finished 3rd placed 9th for a
violation of the AGCO pylon rule.

these judges are erratic at best
same as the dumb "on a break for 25 strides" rule
they dont know how to count-so why have a rule that forces them too?
as far as the pylons rule--they suck
if a horse goes inside a pylon but the pylon moves--they call that NOT inside the pylon
one day a driver will go inside 2 in consecutive, then outside one, the entire mile and he would be left up
-
brutal call
taurasi clearly inside 4 consecutive and no one near him to "force " him inside
maybe dougie needs some strength training so he can steer the horses
judges are brutal
