His own fault for going to the front with a closer, then not retaking from a horse who stopped to a walk his last parimutal start, Tetrick been terrible.

Tetrick takes off winter months and this summer he has done NOTHING and is becoming an automatic TOSS at the betting windows.

Howdy doody
-
He might not have a super year but he will do 7 million before it’s over . How you doing?

Since the indictments Timmy has cooled off a lot. Doesn't own pieces of 100 like the old days. No more cc racing and no more jimmy king and josh marks. All the dope trainers he used to drive for are gone and all the stake trainers he pissed off and burnt bridges.
-
Might appear he is having an off season, but the stats show otherwise!
1101 225 178 168 3,382,291 0.345
Some drivers will never have stats like that and the year is only half over. I don’t think we need to start a go fund me for him quite yet. ngc3

He beat me in the 8th at Philly this afternoon.

I like Tim. Smart driver. I don't know if he's lost any major stakes barns/clients, but I do think increased competition over the last 5 to 10 years is a factor. Perhaps his health is a factor. I don't know. Maybe it's perception. Tim used to be pretty well situated in Linda Toscano's barn. The X factor though is that so many of these drivers are either taking off the winter, taking off most or a lot of it, and that plus the competition can have an impact. Back in the day you had drivers who went south for the winter, but they were still working. The top drivers who stayed up north had a very, very lucrative series of late closers. Remember, purses used to be much higher! LOL.

I agree with the increase in competition. In the past few years, Dunn, McCarthys (2), Zeron, have all moved to the Big M and Stratton drive there part-time. Also Svanstedt drives many of the horses he trains.
