Curious if any of you standardbred gamblers can give me your review of this place. I haven't been to Vegas in 5 or 6 years - always stayed at Bally's and enjoyed their race book - which is no longer there. Also, interested in everyone's opinion of the best places to play horses in Las Vegas these days...thanks in advance...

IT'S STILL A GOOD SPOT FOR BETTING HORSES AND THE CHOW THERE IS REASONABLE + GOOD.
1. RED ROCK
2. GREEN VALLEY RANCH
3.NEW DURANGO
4. WYNN
ALL RELIABLE, ABLE TO GET YOUR BETS IN TYPE STUFF. MUSIC AT RED ROCK IS ALWAYS BRUTALLY LOUD THO.
IMO YOU'LL LIKE SOUTH POINT. HINT: SLIDE UP THE ESCALATOR TO THE MOVIE THEATERS FOR FRESH, HOT POPCORN AS A SNACK tmbz1

if they count betting at racebooks for rewards, it might get him a free room!
Try the Delmar deli next to the sportsbook if you're hungry. Fair portions, reasonably priced, and many desserts to choose from to finish your meal.
