Tonight's seventh race @YonkersRaceway was declared a no contest and refunds on all wagers are available after Bee Okay A suffered a broken line and interfered with multiple horses.

Is an unbuckled line aka a broken line ?? Have not seen a broken line since leather lines went out.

True enough but some lines can look pretty tired and maybe wet numb hands might fumble the doing up the buckle and putting the tongue in the keeper. Mohawk wants the lines taped so I do it when there. But my tack is always perfect. I figure it's so easy to lose so why not be fussy.

I got taught to always check my lines before I got in the bike.
