Wonder if that's a warning shot to DHRC to tighten up the ship?
Why post that?
-
Dover opens soon, so if certain trainers are missing in action or their horses have different trainers, I'll know why.
-
DHRC will really get their shit together now! This will stop the decades of bullshit! ngc3

Here’s a news flash, you don’t need a USE less Trotting Ass membership to race as a driver or trainer. You wouldn’t need one as and owner but they won’t transfer horse to your name with out one. I went 2 yrs without it and raced. What exactly are they going to enforce.
-
They won’t enforce any of the few things they can.

Well, you're just a ray of fuc-ing sunshine aren't you~
The post was meant to be sarcasm. Everyone knows the USTA is useless and by them saying they were aware was just downright laughable!
-
Easy follow plopper ,didn’t mean it as sarcasm to you , it was a shot at the USEless trotting ass , I know one of the gals there and they have some who just horseplop frequently
-
Viki Humphreys is on the case, she will not rest until someone is banded

I love how everything is hush hush and nothing from DHRC and DSOA.
Tim Crisman already transferring some to Ratledge. But not much movement on anything else. Guess gh2009 is right we will not know anything till Dover entries are posted. 7 people and mums the word. What are they hiding and why?
-
Crissman had 1 or 2 horses with Ratledge last year. What interesting is, Dylan Davis, Traci Berry, and Bobby Glassmeyer were intertwined as part-owners on a few horses with either Berry or Glassmeyer lister as trainer. Pat Berry drives most of Glassmeyer's horses so there's definitely a connection between those two, and I know Bobby Glassmeyer had 3 positive tests on the horse Sweet Angel Boy early in Dover's meet last year, all of them after wins. He got only a 15- or 30-day suspension, plus loss of purse which seemed minor considering the repeat offenses.
-
She works for him and has been with him for years. She usually only goes down on ones she co owns with him. I know she has been down on the Maryland raced horses as trainer.
Funny thing Sweet Angel Boy was Harringtons horse of the meet this Summer/Meet! And Morgan drives that one exclusively.
Question is what's Chuckie C up too? Why the Green thing as driver and most of those are dead drives. Will he let him drive the Dover horse's as well? It's like he knows there asleep and not going to put up a leading driver who drives for the win.
-
Green actually won 4 races last Monday night, a few of them were Crissman's. I think he's average at best and that might be stretching it. Tetrick drove alot of Crissman's horses last year at Dover but after the 1st of the year only drove on Thursday's when they have their best card. After his 3 positive tests, Sweet Angel Boy disappeared for a few months. When he came back, he wasn't as good, but a few months later got sharp again. I did not care for his race last Monday and think he may be back on the way down, but Glassmeyer does a great job with all his horses so I'm not counting him out yet. Btw, Pat Berry was Sweet Angel Boy's regular driver until his own Captain Country Star got real sharp and moved his way up to the feature, that's when Morgan took over.
-
I just hope Chuck gives Jason some power to drive at Dover. Kid deserves it.
-
Depends how often Tetrick is there, and he also used George Nap some, he also needs to do well with his opportunities, or they'll give him the boot.
-
Speaking of Kirby, have you noticed Victor Kirby gets almost no drives except for Bryan Truitt and one trotter he drives for Dylan Davis? He used to be Jim King Jr's #2 man, but he dumped him last year.
-
Vic can drive too. Maybe he has cut back and not taking many drives anymore.
-
There are 4 or 5 drivers who have drives in almost every race, so drives are hard to come by, especially live ones.
-
Vic is very good with trotters of all levels. Used to train a few at a very high percentage. Anyone know is he is partially retired or something?
-
He's just not getting alot of drives, however I don't think he's retiring, he's only in his early 50's.

The USTA is a laughing stock to make such a statement.
They are aware. They are continuing to monitor the situation. They are conducting an investigation of their own. Why? What do they have the authority to do?
Now that the hearings are over, and sanctions have been imposed what exactly are they going to monitor? Appeals?
If they revoke USTA membership, what exactly will that do? What will that accomplish?
Laughing stock.
-
What were the sanctions and against who? That information has been hard to come by!

They took away their Scrapple sandwiches.

Sounds a little Severe if you ask me.
We love our Scrapple!

Just saw Dover's entries for next Monday. The Crissman horses have Tetrick listed as their 1st choice with Jason Green 2nd, but Tetrick is also named on other horses in the same race too, some are Jim King Jr's.
-
Was wondering the difference between TLB racing llc and P berry racing LLc?
-
Just check entries for Monday and sure looks like same cast of characters minus Tim Crissman and Justin Brennaman.

TLB Racing is Pat Berry's wife, Tracy, so they're one in the same, probably separate for business and tax purposes. Regarding Tim Crissman being missing in action on Monday, it's a pretty cheap card horse wise, so none of his horses probably fit the conditions, will know more the next couple days when more entries come out, but I expect to see him. Quick funny story about Dover. I was there on Opening Night in 1969 when they first opened. The parking lot wasn't paved yet and our car got stuck it in the mud. Had to stay in a motel in Dover overnight until we got towed out the next day.

Just curious because Pat Berry LLC is listed as NY owned.
-
Pat Berry's address used to be in Cranbury, NJ before they moved to Harrington, not sure about the NY address, but TLB is definitely his wife. The tax laws for businesses are more favorable in Delaware than in most states.

I was also there opening night. Big changes since then.
-
First one was they paved the parking lot. Back in the early days you'd get crowds of 3000 to 4000, now it's almost nothing for the horses because everyone is either in the casino or sportsbook. For a few years they had a thoroughbred meet with cheap horses. They were the only game in town on Sundays, and there used to be at least a dozen buses from out of state.

Just saw Dover's entries for Tuesday. Tim Crissman has no horses entered again, however 3 horses Tony Morgan is listed to drive all have George Polk Jr listed as trainer, one of them is in, the other two are also eligibles. Can't remember the last time if ever Polk trained 3 horses.

Polk is a good guy, and Morgan has taken a liken to him. Polk has been around for years but not much success until now. Has few for Hoover. He is a friend of mine as well.

I'm familiar with Polk, but him entering 3 horses on the same night has never happened before, so I'm wondering what's up? Think we'll know more about Tim Crissman on Monday when they draw Thursday's card, which happens to include the 3-year-olds in The Matron.
