I don't think so either.  Unless Luther decides to piss away another stack of cash.

Appears to be a legit partnership dispute as the ownership group's dam, yearling and weanling are also selling.

Will be interesting to see if My Girl EJ is bought by a breeder or an owner like Luther or Bill Pollock. As a double Breeders Crown winner she would seem to have tremendous value either way.

Could be worth a million if they plan on racing another year or two and then breed her.

is this necessary to get Howard Taylor out of the group?

If so, I'm sure someone will be mysteriously bidding it up!   tmbz1

Considering the latest court hearing on Wednesday didn't conclude anything, and gave another 30 days for Gural's motion, if Taylor is going to sell horses, it's going to happen one way or another. I'd rather sell through PEM. For me, certainly far more credibility than others. I would think Taylor's a bit of a lightning rod. Like Mark Cuban told Bobby Axelrod, "I don't want your money." LOL.

Taylor is already out on EJ. Her sale is to get Novak out.

tmbz1 At the end of the day I'd wager that Burke will not let his most prized family go.

That's BS - Howard is STILL owner and they have to buy him out.

Howard might still be an owner but it is silent then because he is NOT listed as an owner.

Burke is almost impossible to improve on & even maintaining a top level horse.
There is a long line of stars that don't reproduce top horses.

HT had to be bought out to race at Meadowlands. Cote makes you show proof of cashed check. Burke isn’t risking his gravy train over a HT hidden ownership.

LOL - If you think that was true I have some beautiful beach front property in Nebraska really cheap to sell you.  I promise to show you all the paperwork too.

The weanling, yearling, mare and EJ have nothing to do with the Howard issue. Selling 100% to get Novak out, Burkes group is done with Novak.

What's the issue with Novak?  She has to be silent owner since she doesn't own controlling interested of the horse.

Burke probably had no intention of buying the horse but stayed in just to jack up the price.

Am sure like in many other situations they set a reserve. When the reserve was met, the horse was sold. Really pretty routine.

No reserve was set, they had to physically enter a bid. Some bidders did have a high bid set, but Burke didn't. You can view the bids!

I can’t imagine, given how much Burke is in the breeding game, that he is super thrilled to lose the whole family.  My guess is his bids were with the intention of keeping parts of a really good family.

$1.5 for the 4 did seem a bit light considering what everything brought at the sales the last month

Yes, Preferred lets you see the bids, unlike Ongait.  However, neither tells you who the bidders are until the winning bid is made.

When Burke bought hip# 15 Generational Wealth for $150,000. under BWB, who is Burke Weaver Bruscemi, you found their bidder password was ZV***31. Then you could follow their bidding. Preferred Equine will probably change this now that I let the cat out of the bag. They tell you who has the current bid, and who a previous bids were.

750 for a pacing filly, 250 for a pacing colt WEANLING, and almost 400 for a broodmare carrying a sweet lou are premium fucking prices. I honestly can't think of a single 3 yr old pacing filly that has gone for more, or a weanling colt.  They bought the yearling colt back for 150, so i have to assume that he has a physical issue that the weanling does not have.
