Harness gets very little of my wagering dollars! I may bet some of the year's bigger cards, but not much else.

Sire stakes races are usually clean. I won a decent amount of cash over the years on NYSS races. I haven't really bet any horses in quite a while.
-
“Back then” you could do ok but not any more. 2 or 3 trainers dominate trots and 2 or 3 the pacers.
-
I’ve switched about 90% of my wagering to Tea Breads

For a while Ray Romanetti's horses were always a go in the NYSS. He had a bunch of horses starting with Moshannon. He had 2 daughters named Maureen and Shannon and he combined the 2 names to make Moshannon.

I know the NJSS was dominated by a few but I didn't know NYSS was.

It's a suckers game. Too many inside bets. I can almost swear that at Northfield they decide whose gonna win the night before. Wasn't like that years ago. Didn't have so many last second bets that destroys the odds.
-
Appears that Northfield has been the latest Elite target and that means envelopes will be delivered

After reading the article I'm curious which of the 7 out of 33 tracks in the USA increased their handle.

I bet Mo-bine a few times in the past week. Horses regularly in the last minute countdown going from '6-1' to '5-2' or from '3-1' to '6-5' and racing large or, conversely, live looking horses going from '3-1' or '4-1' to '10-1' and being completely dead. It's time to give up the overnights for me.

Agree with you Kant - At least you can see the form changes if you pay attention and for the most part everyone is trying.

Thats one of his real good ones, another is Moshannon Finesse.
The guy was a guru with the NYSS trotters. I can't recall any of his horses going off stride.

Gulfstream Park's 5th race yesterday. Going into the gate (about 1 minute before the race started) the #8 was 17-1. The gates opened, #8 was 9/2. Won by 2 lengths.

Sports Wagering was way up.

Santa Anita did more than $50m in handle opening weekend. I guess those people don't know or don't care. LOL.
