Will Yonkers toss him out as he is the leading trainer there this year BY FAR?

His stable won't miss a beat. There will be a new trainer listed, and life goes on.

His suspension is enforced at all tracks.

It's interesting the suspension doesn't start until May 16th instead of right now, are they giving him time to name his beard trainer, and owners time to transfer their horses to different trainers if they so choose?

With this going on for two years Emblom has had plenty of time to get all his ducks lined in a row. This didn’t come as a surprise. Now let’s see how much balls the racing commission has to make certain that there are no beards. The commission should have rights to investigate everything including any ownership changes , documenting the billing to see who is paying the bills and to whom, etc. How about making it mandatory for the commission to oversee the dispersement of his barn. How about a lifetime ban for these criminals? Unfortunately , nothing will ever change. My greatest accomplishment in the horse business………..getting out !

I agree 100% !!!  These criminals should be handed a lifetime ban.  And to make sure NO BEARDS!  But it ain't happening.  And that's why the sport is killing itself.

Yeah ok. Remember all those people Gural banned "forever" on 60 Minutes? Ironically I brought some info to Settlemoir about Engblom early last year. Guess who got banned from the property and I'm not even racing!  ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

If you're not afraid of spontaneously combusting hearts you can get some good deals.

I'll bet they still get shipped to Yonkers in Engblom trucks and trailers and the breast color or brow band still says Engblom.  Doesn't he train at Cancelliere farm?  Is Tom allowing him on the grounds?  By rule he isn't allowed on any licensed training facility while under suspension.  Maybe MP can do survelance and follow Engblom to document his wherabouts? LOL

He might push it another 2 yrs if he appeals it to the Supreme Court which is with in his right. He could drag it out long enough till they finish get decoupling all over the country. Pandora’s Box has been open, genie’s out of the bottle, started in FLA

This case is emblematic of what's wrong with the sport and why it will eventually contract to the point where it isn't covered or watched by the vast majority. I'm all for due process but to let a guy game the system and continue to race for two years is beyond negligent. This case should've been adjudicated within six months. And anyone that thinks Per hasn't taken an edge on the pre-race front is an idiot. Yes he gets Jason and half the time he gets to boat fractions but there is no way, and never has been, a way in which a guy can touch that many horses and put up those numbers.

AgentQ you are right. You wonder how Jason gets tied up with all these super pre-race trainers. It's questionable does he have the knowledge or is he helping them? The problem is nothing is done about it, he will just get a beard to list as a trainer and keep on going.

I was told he must be given time to appeal to the next level if he chooses to do so.

If I were Jersey I would say "appeal and we automatically double it"  NO horse trainer to my knowledge has ever won any case when appealing to Supreme Court.
