 6-Bill Gustafson, Scioto Downs Vice President and General Manager, stated that the Scioto Downs grandstand will be demolished after the 2018 racing season. As well, for the 2018 racing season, bleachers with seating for 325 persons will be installed, along with temporary rest room facilities similar to those used at the Little Brown Jug, as well as betting stations, tellers and food service.
The Penthouse is now no longer available for public use.

what's worse is rubble that once was RP 5/8 on Telegraph rd....abandoned, lost forever vs. up Maumee off the I-75 @ Miami st. casino. no expense spared.

sad part only Jug grounds left as pure racing history. haven't set foot in Miami Valley yet but it's gotta be light yrs ahead of old Warren co fair grounds. they hadn't had a bucket of hot h2o there since the '70's.

2030 prediction? 3x as many casinos. slots at every bar, restaurant, moose hall. racing ? d.o.a.!

Cahill and Frasure can’t even bother to attend the races at night. They race to get the draw done. Cahill might do 12 hours a week so it’s not her driving the wager.
