Heard a story about him one time racing a horse in a claimer at Yonkers, got claimed and as the new trainer was following the horse thru the paddock he was informed that wasn’t the horse he had claimed, put a ringer in the race. Any truth to that story?  Other than that story, I always thought he used to be pretty popular back in the day.

Knew someone who claimed one from him that was skin & bones.They raced him every 10 days until they put 100 lbs on him.Went on an made alot of money with him.Don't think he had any fat horses.

Bobby had some issues but he was one of the most fun loving guys I ever met back when Lewiston was running. Had a few wobbly pops and a lot of fun there You could eat off the floor in his stable. Haven’t talked to him in quite a few years but back then he was sharp.
