Drivers Matter!

At DuQuoin my filly was in a final and Holland wasn't able to drive at all that day. I couldn't go down there so I was at the Joliet otb. We were not a favorite to win so it should have been a long drive for nothing.

But as luck would have it Erv gets the great John Campbell to drive Shay.

John Campbell leaves with her and she was a stone cold closer, gets parked every step and gets beat by a nose at the wire by an 18 year old named Tim Tetrick who came from last to first!

Best race by any of my horses EVER!

And that would have never happened without the hands of John Campbell.

So kudos to MacDonald for deferring to the great David Miller.
