I was watching the replay of the Dan Patch and noticed something this time that was almost inaudible live.
Go to the 2:05 minute mark of the replay and turn the volume as loud as your volume will go.
After the race call finishes there is a few seconds of dead air except for Emily in the background.
From the 2:10 mark to the 2:14 mark you can hear Emily say to someone "(...(something interview) ...You need to talk about it, he equaled the track record, you're going on".
So somebody from the Teague Camp did not want to talk on camera but Emily was having none of that.
I assume the mystery person was Clyde Francis since he did do an interview after the race.
Of course you can't tell for sure he was the one she was talking directly too but he did the interview she demanded.
