We understand that Churchill Downs and Oxford Casino, which Churchill controls, were disappointed that the Gambling Control Board did not pick a Churchill affiliate to operate Maine’s new advanced deposit wagering system. The Downs supported allowing Oxford Casino to operate an advance deposit wagering system, and we have long contended that laws that discriminate against venues are mistaken, including the laws that have prevented the Downs from competing with Oxford Casino.

last race comission meeting i laughed my ass off when bangor was complaining about churchill. they know the deal. yes churchill mad about adw situation. as a track owner penn knows dam well any track has a right to send or not send their signal anywhere.  hey what does anyone expect. churchill runs a racino without racing. bangor and downs dont want to race. maybe maine should allow jai-ali.

This was butcherd bad in Augusta with this STUPID Maine
gambling Control Board.I had an account for a long time no
issues then they form the GAMBLING Control Board
and it all goes to pot.
All they have done is drive people away from harness
and horse racing by TRYING to force all to bet thru
STUPID HOLLYWOOD RACES.Any idea how many
people this drove off. Your not going to make it
