I have spent hours, hours, and more hours sitting in blacksmith shops all across this country.I don't think there is a blacksmith past or present that has not smacked one up side the ribs with the flat side of a hammer or rasp.You don't hit them in the head or use the hamer like you are driving in a nail.It is called additude ajustment.Sometimes kids need a little swat on the butt!

The best places to get good solid inside betting info is the blacksmith shop, the tack shop, and the track kitchen.
I don't think some of you realize how little it takes to get a horses attention. We are not suggesting pounding the hell out of them. Just a little wake up call.
