New Years wishes
« on: December 31, 2023, 03:32:42 PM »
-To ALL Plopsters, good health and happiness (and profits too) for '24.
AND to help the profits part, my industry New Year's '24 wish: All harness past performance programs START including 'equipment changes on past program lines'. Its the glaring piece of missing information that would help bettors immensely. .ie if a horse went to 'kant see b.' last wk Note it!! We need to know.
..thanks.

The tracks aren't smart enough to help the public win. The more winning gamblers = more return players! I don't think that I am missing anything! Sometimes simple solutions are right in the face of others!

  • dougie: No tournament play there. Two many young cowboys bullying us old guys. Just straight poker. A lot of fun, but you could get hurt if you don't know the players.

  • Trigger: When I refer to cash game I'm thinking non tourn or sit n go, casinos I've played in never let you play for cash only chips but technically a ring game is a cash game too.

  • dougie: Private games are cash only. But the table uses chips to cause no confusion. Buy-in it $1G with 2 other buy in allowed. It is strictly Texas Holdem. Is is no limit but most of the players know each other. No kids playing. I'd say the average age was about 40. Food is included. Usually subs and pizza. Occasionally Chinese food.

  • JT: Is it no limit hold em I am assuming Dougie? tournament style, or cash game?

  • dougie: We had 8 tables going and the 1G prize is every hour. Todays game is the third private game I ever played. I starting to enjoy private games.

  • Trigger: How many tables partake in the 1g prize and is it 30m or an hour?
