Also they experiment here and there with breeding trotters to pacers which has been going on for years Down under. Some of the greatest trotters down there were crossbreds. My trotter who won Trotter of the Year twice was by a pacer who left 160 plus trotters and about 10 pacers which was odd. Some of them were double-gaited.


Also,, foreign drivers won most of the races. There is a reason. Bigger fields, none of this single file bullshit and race over all different distances. This creates better drivers IMO as they run up the ass of the one in front

That wasn't really my point of the thread but for sweeds yes it's a numbers game ake and takter have unlimited bank and and make the right moves. Melander just had unlimited bank.
