Doc Butler
« on: September 02, 2024, 05:04:41 PM »
The late Doc Butler was a great guy.  He also patched quarter cracks, very talented man the nicest guy you wanted to talk to.  He was also the state vet at Yonkers for a while.

We had some great conversations on lameness and about life in general. He was never right after his wife and children were killed in a motor vehicle accident. It’s hard to forget good guys like him in the horse business.

His repair jobs looked like hell, but they held up.

I agree the patches look bulky compared to Ian McKinley’s patches yes they held up good.
