Rick Wink

The most impressive horse watching in person today was him.. he won in 150.2 only 1/5 slower then the jug final.. with no urging as a 2 year old in the Ohio breeders championship and was only 2/5 off Downbytheseaside's world record there. He is now 7 for 7 and banked 200 grand. I hope he goes against Swingtown in the Ohio sire stakes final.next month.. Another Burke powerhouse.

Dave Miller, the rail, on a horse with gate speed, that's easy money.

Actually rick wink had 2 hole with Chris Page..you might be thinking of Railroad Station.. another 2 year old Burke horse who left from the rail with Miller driving and faded badly to 4th

His daddy was a GREAT 1/2 mile track horse with solid breeding.  I am sure the stud fee will be going up after today.

So the world champion 2 year old in his barn Sippinonsearoc is the 3rd or 4th best 2 year old colt Burke has behind Louprint, Rick Wink and maybe Swingtown.  He has others like Railroad Station, Papi's Rocket, that have won a few races and shown lots of speed too.  Best year he's had for 2 year old pacing colts in a long time.

Railroad Station did tire yesterday, but he had a good reason in that he went 53 3/5 the first half!  Was a faster first half than any race at Del this week, including the Jug.

Yeah he was used hard at the beginning.. and he didn't need to go nearly that fast at the start to grab the lead
