Of the six winners he drove put tetrick Gingras Miller or zeron on them and tell us how many they win with

I would say three, Maryland, Twin B Joe Fresh, and Winner's Bet.

Winner's Bet would have been the favorite no matter who drove it, even if Dunn was on Logan Park from the rail.

Twin B Joe Fresh was so good last time....thats what champs do..they just pull away from the field.  Great effort by Kobis Gigi to get 2nd. A mare thats been around for a while  getting her share but seemingly forgotten about.  I think Twin B should race against the boys in the TVG...horse of the year no matter what

What a finish to the year by Mirage Hanover, you could see the oodles of talent earlier with those fast 1/4 finishes but had some tough luck. That Jug effort showed alot and he has been raging ever since. Hope he and Nijinksy come back as 4 year olds to inject some life into the sagging FFA division

TCI was huge and its a shame he got nipped by Sig Sauer. Looks like Sig Sauer is the 3 yo trotter of the year...he won the Dancer, Beal, Futurity and BC...impressive resume  so he deserves it.

Allegiant finally puts it together but where does that leaves divisional honors. I say R Melina because that peanut is literally right there in every race and her futurity performance was the most impressive in the division this year.

My Girl EJ captured divisional honors with that win.....big performance from Tarrific who just missed from post 10 but was huge the week before.

Winners Bet nice consolation for Nancy who strangely or not so strangely who seemingly doesnt have much going on in any other division.

Coach Stefanos with an unlikely last to first finish closing like a freight train...like an old Big M ffa race. The big guns shot blanks and the payouts were insane. A big race still to come but even with the clunker Abucketabett is the tap for divisional honors

Call Me Goo just impressive, wasnt sold on her based on her past Big M performances...wo nt get divisional honors though that is for Jiggity Jog

All very well said.. I had Call me goo singled in the pick 5 but Allegiant got me in the last leg.. I would LOVE to see Twin B race against the boys in the TVG.

Dunn drives 95% favorites in the top purse races all year. Let him go drive overnights at any track for 5 years and and let’s see how he compares then

Dunn has driven quite a few longshots of late as well

Him and James MacDonald are #1 and 32 IMO

Dexter's brother is supposedly moving up here as well

John Dunn has 1722 wins in NZ which is high considering they drive like 2 or 3 meets a week maz.

How many long shots has he won with
Fri night 6 kindergarten races no favorites best finish 1 3rd
Saturday night 5 overnight races no drives
12 breeders crown races 7 favorites  2 2nd favorite  2 3rd favorite 1 4th favorite
3 for Melander 2 for ake 2 for takter 2 for Ryder 1 for Harris 1 for lemon
My point is I don’t think he is head and shoulders above tetrick Gingras Miller I don’t think people are giving the horses and trainers enough credit
HES DRIVING MOST OF  THE BEST HORSE HES NOT MAKING THEM THE BEST

Dexter is definitely #1 but I read some that coming into the weekend his highest post time odds for a winner was 8-1 in the BC.  Lots of chicken and the egg there - he drives the best because he is the best and horses also get bet down when he drives.

I’d take Zeron over Todd, Andrew and James but probably splitting hairs.  Scotty had a win and three seconds.  All the seconds were photos and he lost those three by a combined 1/4 of a length.  I actually think he shows his merit when driving the lesser horses by having a willingness to try and pick up a check.

He is 4th on the money list and may hit $10mm with the least amount of drives related to all the big drivers.  His top client had a bad year and he gets the B drives for Melander and the C/D drives for Alagna and Takter.  I actually think Burke should start using him where he used Miller before

Scotty gets the most $ while using the least amount of horse.

agreed
but he turns a lot of wins into seconds/thirds by being too conservative a lot of times

DD is without question the best driver in the game today. Yes, he's getting the horsepower, but his driving skills earned him that. You don't get that by luck, nor overnight. Anyone who says, well he's # 1 because he drives the best horses doesn't know $h!t, not even horse$h!t. LOL. One thing Dexter is doing more and more, which nobody did better than John Campbell----and it is one distinct and overlooked factor which made John so great----is that regardless of whether he has the horse or not, he is putting horses in a position to win.

While I feel Dexter has become a more well-round, and refined driver, over the past two years, and I think he can still get better---let's keep our feet on the ground here for a minute. To put him down as one of the greatest of all time, he needs to do what he's doing and needs to do it more, longer, etc. If you want to put him in the category of greatest of all time----he's going to have to perform at this level, and be a top driver, for many more years. John Campbell performed and played the game at the very highest level for the better part of 25 years. While he was dominant in three different decades, even when 2000 came around, and even when he turned 50, and after, he still was a top driver and winning big dances. The guy won almost 50 Breeders Crowns!!! No disrespect to Dexter, because I like him and I am a fan.....but Dexter has a long way to go before he is mentioned in the same category as John Campbell and truly being the greatest of all time.

I like Scott. Other than his father being a bit of a character, LOL, he's got good genetics. He's very talented. He's a smart driver. He's got good hands, and can really keep a horse live, on the bit, etc., as well. Scott has accomplished more before 35 than many ever accomplish----2 Hambo's, 2 NA Cup's, the Jug, and so much more. He was the leading driver (wins) in Canada by the age of 20. There is a downside of accomplishing too much too soon----experience just being one. Easy to gain experience winning races and driving good horses, but you have to learn how to drive the bad horses well so to speak. He's still young. He's going to become even more well-rounded, and most of all more "refined"----more mature, refined hands, softer hands, a master of pace, etc. He has a great future ahead of him.

Dexter was just 35...I think his future is even brighter. LOL.
