the $5000 number was a joke since I was pissed the way he handled the purchase. Why would I think he could pay $5000 when he could not even pay $1200. Why would anyone give someone a horse and then wait for the remaining money. Doesn't it ring a bell that someone who wants to buy a horse for a sum of $1200 and only can pay half until whenever sound like a deadbeat. I was concerned that she would even get fed. Anyone who looks at the original sale post will see that we stated we were more interested in finding her a good home. For whatever reason it took him 4 days to pay the first $600 and that was only after he asked for another 4 days and then I had enough and at about 2PM I gave him a deadline of midnight to pay or the sale was off. I had enough promises and delays. After he sent the $600 the fun began and yes he can show you the other $600 but what he fails to mention it was on hold for anywhere from 24 hours to 21 days and we had no control over the balance. He was refunded his money and we have all the screenshots to prove what I am saying. So that is it in a nutshell. Those that want to believe his fairy tale so be it. My trainer and her family have been in the business for over 100 years, yes you read right, 100 years and in that time they have been fined once for being late to the paddock.
I forgot to mention he came to the barn on Saturday, looked at the horse but brought no money with the promise to pay and pickup either Monday or Tuesday, first of his stall tactics
