If Sears was on Lazarus, and Gingras was on Coleman's horse I bet Lazarus would have won today. Gingras was bad all day from off the pace. I've watched him the last couple years in big races and lately I've been more impressed with the horses hes driven than him as a driver. I thought he was great early in his career, now he's just a guy behind great horses. On the other hand, tip of the cap to Sears he's really driven McWicked great all year.
What did Gingras do wrong? Although he was outside he had a great trip following McWicked and just wasn't able to outkick him.
