This one hurts.  What a great, fun guy.  The old man, Jerry, was tired of dealing with Jimmy so he sent him on the road to Toledo with a skinny, racky little mare called Glory Sampsonette.  Jimmy took the hopples off and drove her himself.  She won the Invite all around the Midwest for a long spell.  One of the most underrated drivers of all time.  Jeff Fout grew up watching Jimmy and even though Jeff was great, he was never on Jimmy's level.  I can't even begin to tell some of the party stories we had.  RIP, good buddy.

p.s.  The old man had a younger sibling to Sandra Lil that raced but the name escapes me.  Help!

Until next time, sweeties......... .............HEIL HITLER!!

I last talked to jimmy closing night of RP5/8
And oh the stories he could tell!
Best set of trotter hands around!

I wish i could find the win pic of
Don Dorado a mean ol pacer that reared
In the winners circle Jimmy was flat on his
Back and that old horse stood tall
Pointing straight up!"
When the horse came down he fell side ways broke the race bike and Jimmy rolled out of the way laughing his ass off!

Ol Doc the photographer was laughing too saying
"I GOT IT!! "

Rip Jimmy!
And thanks for the memories and fun times!
