i usually watch a couple of races during my lunch break...
the racing is getting really inconsistent...ev en for Monti
seeing races where the top 2 or three are open lengths ahead of the field
first over horse backing up the flow worse than usual
and yeah, sowers botched a win....
When will they realize that you don't get paid a premium for style points?

The place needs new race secretary. His conditions were a joke 15 years ago and didn't get any better. You can finish 5th, get beat by 25 lengths and you have to move up in class. What kind of classification system is that? Monticello would be perfect track for Trackmaster races. Check out last 2 or 3 days charts. MANY races with multiple horses 20-30 lengths behind winner. It's embarrassing.
