SportsHaven is a true dump nowadays. I've only been there a couple times in the past few years, lighting is so bad I could barely see. When it opened it was called Teletrack and had that huge single screen. The only dumpy part was the horrendous Snack Bar and the place was always filled to the gills Saturdays.
They only showed Yonkers and Roosevelt then and Pools were not mixed with NY. Handle in CT alone then was as much in the WPS pools than what all of North America bets on Yonkers in the current era
A dozen or so years ago I was wishing they'd close it down and convert it into a poker room which would have been much easier travel than to Foxwoods. Still would like to see that happen but I know it never will.
