Love or Hate Carmine , he made Harness Racing exciting during the hey days of the 1970’s and early 80’s..I only had the privilege of using him twice to drive for me as I rarely raced at the big tracks and both times he won.. The one time he one my horse was getting claimed that night and when I told Carmine Lucien Fontaine was claiming him , he says That French Fuck with a laugh and he sent him down the road out of the 8 hole and won for fun.. He was definitely a character..
