It is fine to get all you can out of a horse though you need to do it in a responsible manner. Joe is irresponsible the way he drives some of them. Watch Dave Miller and learn.

Keep in mind that with a drugged horse, it's already racing beyond what his own confirmation and physiology would normally allow. When you throw in extreme and excessive urging on top of that, the stressors on the horse are well beyond it's natural physical limit, and the potential for trouble is elevated. Certainly not sustainable for the long term.
Think of putting a Hemi into a Yugo. It may work for an indeterminate amount of time, but considering what that particular structure was intended for - something will eventually fail.

  • JOHN FRANK: Had a great day. Went to grade school in mornin with 4 other vets. Love it when kindergarteners wonder what is that old white bearded man doin. the others were dressed in fatique unies as they in NATIONAL GUARD. Then went to CARPENTERSVILLE park to VETERANS MEMORIAL,for there service and was up for picture takig with 14 other vets. It was a tie between me and one other guy as to who was the oldest VET. Then went to VFW and thepread. Had some chow and a coke. No complaints on day so far. But: IT ain't over till its over.
