Fraser Downs has been forced to cancel its cards of harness racing scheduled for Thursday (Nov. 11) and Friday (Nov. 12), including all the stakes races slated for BC Breeders Classic Day.
The races have been cancelled due to ongoing issues with the starting car, with reports indicating a backup car was also unable to adequately and safely perform starting duties.
Live harness racing will resume next Wednesday (Nov. 17) with the stakes from BC Breeders Classic Day shifted to Thursday (Nov. 18). Both of these cards will head postward at 7 p.m. (PST).
