Racing Perspective : He was a very talented driver - had great hands - won a lot of big races due to his talent....Personal Perspective : His addictions got the better of him and we all should feel sympathy for that - he tried to go sober many times and just couldn't win the battle...I think most of us probably know friends, family or maybe just acquaintances that battle with addiction...we should pull for every one of them to beat their issues...Eric lost..and it's a sad story...
