A few years ago I was in a race with a teenager making his first start. Around the last turn he is sitting in the two hole. He runs up on the wheel of the leader (me), and makes a bad break. He takes a sharp turn to the outside and takes the front legs out from underneath his brother, that was making a big move on the outside. There was no brotherly love back at the barn!
Hope your horse stayed on his feet and you went on to win....
Mind sharing his name?
Who cares. Plane crash 2 people died daughter and father. Who cares. Next what is blood type. Dumb question to ask ...
I blame part of the above mishap on what I would call The Tim Tetrick Crash Syndrome. This happened about the time Tim was first tearing up the east coast with his hand holds in his belle button, and leaning way back.Every new kid on the track saw that and followed suit.In this case all two year olds making there fisrt start off the training track. Was this the time to play TT. I don't think so.
