Anyone who has spent a minute in a cell and has heard that door clang behind them says it's not that bad is full of shit. Locked up is locked up, you are watched 24/7, the guards and other inmates will fuck with you, if you don't follow the rules. Getting out will be an entirely new life for them, checking in, having them check up on you when ever they want, piss tests etc. for as long as they are on probation. Don't forget restitution!
