"Copy Cat Kamala's deliberate cribbing of President Trump's proposal continues her pattern of taking positions in her Presidential campaign that are the exact opposite of the failed, weak, dangerously liberal policies she has always touted and implemented throughout her career," a Trump-Vance campaign memo read Sunday.

"In this case, it contradicts the radical Biden-Harris administration's position of wanting to collect MORE tax on tips, which they rolled out just last year by launching a new enforcement program through the IRS to collect more taxes on tips.

"If she actually wants to end taxes on tips, why won't she do it now, considering she's part of the administration currently in charge?"

Harris pandered to hospitality workers in Las Vegas on Saturday, copying Trump's June 9 announcement on "no tax on tips.

DUH!. Who runnin for PREZ these days. She can set her own policy's and they may differ from JOE. TAX on TIPS is a joke to begin with. Smaller joints,you leave it and waitress or wait boy collects. WHO CARES. Depends on how they took care of you. FANCY ,SMANCY places add it to your bill. Don't even know how much they give to those that served you. More than likly the OWNER took majority of CUT. It all amounts to nothin anyway. When one thinks about it: I goes thru fast food drive-up. They have a container to drop in a tip after you pay. These smaller establishments. I always put in 20%. Take your big fast foods. Wheather you go in or go inside they have NO tip buckets. They no have to with what they have been overchargin with their RICH OWNERS for years. They know learnin that overchargin ain't workin. THEY OFFERIN DEALS,to bring customers back.

It’s not trump’s either.  Ron Paul proposed it in 2012.

IMO it would be surprising if this idea of not taking tips ever gets off the ground. How can you have a tax system that starts allowing tax free income for a specific industry, like the service industry, and not include many other lower paying jobs in other industries? There are so many examples but since this is HorsePlop consider this…Ron Burke has many grooms. Maybe he has a plan that tips them when their horses win or hit a certain earnings mark. If Burke reports this as an expense then the grooms are technically obligated to report the income. Do you think the IRS is going to change their rules to allow the grooms not to report this income? Whether the grooms actually report this extra income or not is not the point. However not including this class of job would seem unfair and inconsistent in the spirit of what these politicians are trying to accomplish.
