Place used to be a nice track. Johnson’s screwed everyone. Hope someone with class reopens it.

Before we know it now as Balmoral,  it open in the 1920 as Lincoln Fields at at the same location in Crete Ill.It opened as  T-Bred track  and in the late 1960's I believe they switched to harness racing.  Started as a half mile oval then 5/8 mile and lastly a full mile oval.
