Yonkers Claiming

Not sure why all of a Sudden claiming seems way down    Good purses      A couple months ago every claiming race had multiple horses taken    Thoughts ?

As far as the 3 and 4YOs go, there is only 6 more weeks of racing before they age a year and their claim price drops by 25%.  Not sure what's going on with the older claimers.  Just my two cents.

i’m still actively claiming

the break is in 4 weeks and we shut down for a month / 5 weeks

and honestly it’s mostly the same old sore horses getting passed around . the horses are begging for this break to come.

You gotta be brave to claim at Yonkers unless of course your one of "those" guys.

Exactly what thesilentone said, Horses are tired and sore this time of year. Time to wait until after a break and new blood. Same horses just getting rented over and over,

Soon Yonkers will be closing their doors casino empty and betting public bets much less than the purses.  Bye bye Yonkers.  Take all the druggies with you   Just in case nobody knows who they are. Just look at the trainers who win every race up there.  They don’t run on water

When they close Yonkers , close Batavia downs and Buffalo raceway also. These tracks are loaded with lots of trainers using drug after drug on these poor horses. Get caught meet after meet , slap on wrist and right back at it the next week. Trainers down as trainers and are not training. Top drug users, Sam smith, James clouser, John leggio, Steve kiblin, David Russo, petrelli brothers, Shawn McDonough, Maggie chindano and a couple more. Only a handful of honest trainers and drivers. Matter of time racing will be done in ny state.
