Mohawk Saturday
« on: March 08, 2025, 05:52:49 PM »
Race#1-#6 RAPTORS WON 5-1 ML Moves into the Cullen barn from Pat Lachance, similar type lit up the tote board 2 weeks ago leaving Lachance. Forms been fair at Yonkers, this is a tough wide open event here though.

Race#2-#5 SMOKESTACK 5-1 ML Got absolutely starched last week early, still had horse late without any daylight. Should go off well above ML with recent form, should be leaving early.

Race#6-#3 WANNABEABIGSTAR 4-1 ML Gpt stacked up, paced a big third panel & was three wide way too early last week, still wasn’t far off. Horse has plenty with these & cant possibly get a worse trip this week.

Race#7-#7 MERIGO MAGIC 6-1 ML Will be way higher then ML has him in here, way up in class. He left hard early last week in his first in Ontario, tripped out but won so easily & with zero effort makes you wonder what’s in the tank.

Race#10-#5 HESINCONTROL 5-2 ML Forms been fair, major barn change tonight, can see him pummelling this field, don’t expect big odds, 7-5 would be a blessing.

Race#12-#7 MR IBIZA N 6-1 ML James choice over many others in here, razor sharp last two efforts despite not getting a picture taken. He can leave or race from behind, will definitely be lower than ML , still like him best in here.

Lots of good betting races tonight, best looking card to bet in months.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

I like to think I did pretty good in my lifetime only betting Harness racing. But Mr WhipRabbit You are Best There Is , Best There Was , IMO Best There Ever Will Be.! Fitting 🇨🇦 Brett Hart of Harness racing . Track size doesn’t matter to you. 1/2 Mile  , 7/8  , 5/8 track doesn’t matter. Keep what you do!

Curious about WANNABEABIGSTAR, straight to the back looked off kilter a bit, gave him head 3/4 way down the stretch and he had some pace. Be curious to see him next week, hopefully he draws 6-8 on the gate.

I see what you mean. He raced great after a month off for 2 starts . Took 3 weeks after that. Series coming up maybe.
