I almost did the same..owned a mare and was dying to buy her sister as a Yearling.  Bid 60K and was underbidder..Fill y never made a penny.  Thank goodness I didnt get her. 

We bought the full sister to Rose Run Sydney.  Didnt look as good as her.  We also tried to buy the full sister of Triumphant Chip...were underbidders.

Whom should I Fear is standing at Victory Hill this year in Indiana.  Book was full at 2500 a pop I believe.  They will get all their money back and then some.  

Talking of Tatker horses I have not heard good things about the Guccio yearlings which Victory Hill owns and syndicated.
