Bigger track and softer fields? How much did the owners pay to ship him from down under to the USA, and race in NW 5000L5?
Correct Luc. I bought 6 of them, never paid anything like what these Waikiki owners probably did, but 3 of the 6 I brought over were better than this one, and probably at 1/3 the price. One of them never even raced here. He got sick here, and that was that. NZ agents are full of it, for the most part. I was offered Francoharrington N 2 years ago. I passed on him, thankfully. He is now a $5000 claimer at MVR. They wanted $60,000NZD for him then. It is a HUGE gamble.
i tried buyin DIBABBA , 10 days ago,i went to 67k,they started at 80..i went to 70,,,,,they said no final was 80 ,, i think she won again last week out in zealnd,,againim gonna be sick should have paid exta 10 ,,she legit nice filly ..huge late kick,,wood have cost me 90 total to get her heere total,,plus they need a month off to get acquainted to america and time zone,,most dont give the zealnd horse enuiff time to get aclamated to us time zone and hemisphereits a big gamble
DIBABA last race: https://harness.hrnz.co.nz/gws/ws/r/infohorsews/wsd06x?Arg=hrnzg-Ptype&Arg=RaceVideo&Arg=hrnzg-RacehdrID&Arg=252392 This track is a lesser one but her time of 2:22s for the METRO circuit's 1950m races are solid enough. $90,000 USD landed is a lot.
Someone else bought her? If not, you still could.
