From last Saturday at The Meadowlands to this Saturday at Pocono, here is a list of "everyone left bigm. To drive at Pocono"

A. Nap and E. Carlson drive at Pocono every year so they were just waiting for them to open. Ma. Miller, V. Ginsburg, P. Berry drove at Pocono this Saturday. The BigM picked up A. McCarthy, who usually drives at Pocono. Other drivers that took their place this Saturday were V. Kirby, M. Merton, R. Dane, R. Cushing etc...

It looks like The BigM will survive.

Earlier this year Jeff said that any drivers that drove at other tracks whenever the Meadowlands was racing, except for stakes, would be barred from the Big M.  Let's see if that holds true!

Well, since you asked- I KNOW gural cares about what people say about him. He wanted to be a "savior" of harness racing, when in truth, he ONLY wanted a casino. One of the biggest snake oil men on the planet. And I'm sure you know what THAT means.I couldn't care less how much of the meadowlands he "owns". He gets a huge sum of money IF he does not get the casino and closes the meadowlands. gural ONLY does what's good for gural. HE analyzed the situation and figured THIS would be his best shot at a casino.
And as for how depressing it is NOT to go to Balmoral anymore-the days of enjoyment from Balmoral have been over for many many years. Ever since Johnston and Langley took over the place. And as for attending a live Balmoral card, that would be pretty impossible for me. I am retired and living in a nice warm sunny state FAR FAR away from Illinois. Enjoying the good life and no longer dealing with the oppressive Illinois taxes and "wonderful" politicians. Did you see the cards at Hawthorne? HOW could anyone who enjoys harness racing EVER think THAT was anything more than Audubon or Raceway Park quality? Might just as well go to the fairs.
And thanks for asking.    I think I'll go for a motorcycle ride today. Yesterday was an awesome day to ride.
